Canada has recognized 9/30 as a Truth and reconciliation day, however there is much more still to do and the US needs to get to work taking ownership for their own genocide of indigenous peoples and theft of their land.
Thousands of Native American children attended U.S. boarding schools designed to “civilize the savage.” Many died. Many who lived are reclaiming their identity.
