This piece is composed of acrylic paint, Stone Xocoveza beer, bayberry oil, floetrol, isopropyl alcohol and gloss varnish.
This piece I used a few different techniques including using a baking metal spatula and popsicle sticks to manipulate the layers of paint into creatures that I saw after pouring the paint on the canvas. Before the pour I was enjoying a delicious beer and thought… hmm I wonder how this would react with the paint…..?! So it became part of it and I’m incredibly happy with the results.
